THE DETAILS OF THE TRIP

-    We drive from Zabljak up to the viewpoint Curevac on 1.700 m above sea level. From the viewpoint can be seen the deepest part of the Tara Gorge and the village Trepca, which is the oldest settlement in the municipality of Zabljak.
-    From Curevica the drive continues to the viewpoint Stuoc from which you can sea the landscape of Zabljak, Black Lake and the north part of the Durmitor Range.
-    The drive continues towards the village Mala Crna Gora (Little Montenegro). On our way to the village we will meet a few viewpoints where we will stop for a short while. The village itself is interesting for its small number of villagers who dedicate themselves to the traditional cattle-breeding and agriculture. During the winter, due to the high snow level, the village is completely cut of from the rest of the world, sometimes for even six months. From the village, in the combination of walking and jeep driving we go down in the canyon of the river Susica and the Lake Susicko (dry). The ambiance here is a complete reflection of the wild mountain and the natural phenomena. During spring the lake is full of water which, till the beginning of June, flows down the canyon towards Tara, and the lake turns into a wet grassy oasis of a bright green color. This place is suitable for snacks and refreshment.
-    From the Lake Susicko we climb the road up the steep slopes of the canyon to the plateau of the Piva Mountain. Unlike the rocky massive of Durmitor, Piva Mountain consists of mild elevations, little hills and is covered with grass. On the pastures can be seen flocks of sheep and in the west direction the canyon of the river Piva.
-    Since this route is circular (therefore called the ring) from the Piva Mountain we are heading again towards the Durmitor Massive. Now we observe and photograph its most famous parts: Todorev do, Prutas, Boljske grede, Dobri do, Valovito jezero (Wavy Lake), Modro jezero (Blue Lake) and the curve Sedlo (Saddle) on 1907. meters above sea level.
