The put in and take out position makes the parking lot in front of the restaurant ?Bridge? by the great bridge on Djurdjevica Tara.

THE DETAILS OF THE TRIP

-    From in front of the restaurant we start the drive 8 km long, over the great bridge to the elevation near the village Zaglavak. We continue walking on foot for about 100 m to the elevation-viewpoint, 1.150 m above sea level from which extends the view above the gorge, down the gorge and below to the river Tara.
-    We continue driving down a beautiful road from the viewpoint to the river, on 600 m above sea level.
-    Continuing from the river, expects us an elevation towards the asphalt road and then again we ride down a forest road to the monastery St Archangel Michael. The monastery, in the hidden ambiance by the river, was built for the first time in the thirteenth century and since then was torn down three times and then rebuilt again during the war of Christians with the Ottoman Empire. The way it looks today, it can thank to the restoration done in 1991. The service is performed by one nun.
-    We continue with a 10 minutes ride by jeep from the monastery to the position below the great bridge and from then on expects us some thirty minutes walk on foot through the beech woods to the foamy spring called Ljutica. This spring is the most fruitful in Europe (1000 l/sec) while it also makes the shortest river in the world, only 170 m long, and therefore, for those two phenomena it has been inscribed in the Guinness Book of Records.
-    We return back from Ljutica to the jeep and from there we continue driving back to the put in position by the bridge.
